Short Story Long: Why Details Matter (Especially When You Work With Me)

Short story long...
That phrase might as well be etched on my headstone.

It’s my go-to line — which is funny, because what follows is always the longest, most detailed story you’ve ever heard.

If you know me, you already know I can’t give the short version.
If someone cuts me off in traffic, I won’t just say, “A car pulled in front of me.”
You’ll hear: “It was a blue car with a Betty Boop sticker. It happened right after I sneezed, which reminded me I need to clean the car because I spilled my drink earlier. It leaked into this crevice where I found an old tube of Claire’s chapstick I haven’t seen since high school.”

Yes, it’s like that.
And yes, my husband deserves a trophy.

But Here’s the Thing

I love details.

While they might seem excessive in storytelling (sorry again, husband), they’re my secret weapon in business.

When you’re launching something — whether it’s a course, a funnel, a workshop, or a new client experience — the smallest details are often what make the biggest difference.

A Real Example (Short Story Long Style)

I was building an onboarding workflow for a client of a client. I didn’t speak to her directly, but I was given the basics: send the contract, invoice, and a questionnaire.

So, I built it exactly how it was outlined.

Then I learned more.
Not just what needed to happen — but how she works, how her clients are used to being onboarded, and the kind of experience she wants them to have.

That changed everything.

I adjusted the timing, personalized the messaging, restructured the forms, and added thoughtful steps that actually reflected her brand — not just a generic setup.

What started as a “basic” workflow turned into something that felt like her and made things easier for her clients.

That’s What I Do

I don’t just take a checklist and run through it like a machine.

Yes, I love getting things done. I live for clear plans and real implementation.
But what I actually do is listen for the little things — the things you didn’t know mattered.

  • I ask the right questions

  • I see the bigger picture

  • I build systems that feel good to use, not just functional

Whether we’re building a funnel, setting up your course, or mapping out an entire launch in Kajabi, ThriveCart, Flodesk, or any platform you use — I’m focused on the experience from start to finish.

So What Does This Mean for You?

If you’re gearing up for a launch and you’ve got the copy, the emails, and the tools mostly in place, but it still feels clunky — that’s where I come in.

With a VIP Day or full Launch Build, I take your vision and turn it into a seamless, detailed system that actually works.

You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You don’t need to QA every button or follow-up email.
Just bring your goals. I’ll handle the setup that brings it all together.

And long story short?
Too late.
That’s what makes working with me different.
